This past Friday night, February 9, the Raider Swim Team had an OUTSTANDING performance at the Region 4C meet, finishing 3rd overall!!!

The Lady Raiders continued to show their hard work by scoring 102 points at the meet finishing 5th overall! In the meet, the Lady Raiders were able to drop time an impress everyone at the meet. The girls 200 Medley Relay (N. Wagner, S. Davis, L. Vanderloo, J. Calvert) and Julia Calvert (100 Backstroke) were able to qualify for the State swim meet. With all the great swims by the Lady Raiders, the 200 Medley Relay was able to break the school record, along with Lexie Vanderloo dropping her school record in the 500 Freestyle. It was a very impressive meet from top to bottom!

The boys swim team swam hard all the way to the end, scoring 206 points overall, coming in 2nd, by JUST 1 point, to the Region 4C Runner-Ups. The entire meet was a nail biter but the boys performed and fought all the way through it, to come up with best time and amaze everyone in the facility! In the meet, Cole Eisner was able to achieve his state cut time in the 200 Freestyle, while Collin Hughes was able to drop his school record times in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle. The boys team continues to impress and show the depth that they have to compete with any team in the state!
